CRR for Chief Fire Officers

Vision 20/20 has recently completed the development of our newest one day training offering for Chief Fire Officers.  With 12 months in development, this new research based course focuses on challenges, gaps and misconceptions as seen through the eyes of Chief Fire Officers from across the nation. Hard hitting, difficult discussions sit at the core of this training that help Chief Officers gain a better understanding of true concepts of CRR and how to gain buy-in within their organization.  Post course survey results from Chief Officers rate this course a “must take” for their peers across the nation.

This is a companion course for our CRR for Local Government Officials to help bring governing bodies and chief officers to the table to have knowledgeable discussions on the benefits of Community Risk Reduction at the local level.

Interested in a local delivery of CRR CFO and/or CRR LGO?

Vision 20/20 prioritizes course deliveries for our Statewide Collaboration & Engagement Framework (SCEF) States.  SCEF States are highly engaged as a collaborative group, have strong coalitions throughout the State to help generate momentum for, and support CRR across the State on a local level.  To learn more about the SCEF and to get your State involved, visit Strategicfire.org/scef

There is no cost to the student for course delivery, although for this course we ask the following from the host department/organization.

  • Market the course, with Vision 20/20 material, and maintain registration list
  • Provide a comfortable venue with space for at least 50 students.  We encourage host organizations to set a goal of 100 for the course.
  • Provide lunch for the attendees

While Vision 20/20 does not charge for this course we do support a nominal charge by the host organization to promote course attendance and support an attendee lunch.

Course deliveries for one or both of these offerings can be scheduled by contacting us at info@strategicfire.org
