Discovery – U.S. Heart Disease Rates

Funded by a grant from the FEMA Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program

Cardiovascular Disease is the leading cause of deaths across the nation at a rate 200 times more than fire deaths. Many of these are preventable, and in the aftermath of a non-fatal event, it is possible to help the person reintegrate into society through a Mobile Integrated Health/Community Paramedicine program.
