Arvada Fire Protection District, CO
When assessing and prioritizing risk in the communities served across a jurisdiction, great variation can exist from station to station. There are many variables that need to be considered on a smaller scale of the station based community. So at Arvada Fire, we conducted station based community risk assessments and put together plans to prioritize the station based risks to address via community risk reduction programs. The result is a more focused effort that can have a greater impact due to being more relevant to the community being served.
