The sixth Symposium will be held in February 2018.
  • Specific resources developed to help fire departments in delivering CRR in their communities:
    • The Vision 20/20 Fire Safety Materials Generator that helps departments create customized marketing materials such as door hangers, flyers, magnets and much more, in English and Spanish
    • An app for mobile devices that allows departments to download videos in seven languages that they can use when doing home safety visits to demonstrate the speed of fire, the dangers of cooking and heating fires and the importance of smoke alarms.
  • CRR Radio, a podcast, going into its fourth year, that features experts from around the world focusing on innovative CRR programs and ideas.

“During this time, The Vision 20/20 Project has undergone a tremendous amount of growth,” said retiring Project Manager Jim Crawford. “By working together with our Steering Committee, experts, and volunteers from across the nation, we have been able to make significant progress on the original plan since 2007. We appreciate everyone’s contributions that has contributed to our progress, and we look forward to continuing this growth with the leadership of new Project Manager Stephen Hrustich into the years ahead.”
